Theatrical Firearms

RAD will be hosting a two-day Theatrical Firearms Safety course in Minneapolis in June; details to be announced soon.

Membership

Soon, RAD will offer memberships for those committing to ongoing training with RAD, join the Foundations Membership. Members will get access to all Foundations classes and open gyms, receive priority to sign up for future specialty classes and intensives, and be offered discounts.

Some RAD Instructors

Tom Ringberg

Tom is a Stunt Coordinator, Fight and Intimacy Choreographer, weapons specialist, and a Certified Teacher and Theatrical Firearms Instructor with the Society of American Fight Directors in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tom’s recent work is on the set of Sanctified, in North Dakota, and for the History Channel’s ‘I Was There’ series. Tom has worked with many theatre companies in the Twin Cities area and the Minnesota Opera for various productions such as: The Fix, Rigoletto, Dead Man Walking, and assisted in Silent Night. Tom teaches a variety of classes, such as: Whip, Fighting for Film, Skill and Proficiency Test classes, and Kali.

MAson Tyer

Mason is a Minneapolis fight director, stunt coordinator, and intimacy director, as well as a Certified Teacher and Theatrical Firearms Safety Instructor for the Society of American Fight Directors. He has worked with the Minnesota Opera, Children’s Theatre Company, Duluth Playhouse, Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Journey North Opera Company, GREAT, Open Window Theatre, Theatre in the Round, numerous high schools, and local media productions. Mason is a teaching artist for Children’s Theatre Company and has taught at The Guthrie, CTAM, North Hennepin Community College, Art in Arms, and at stage combat workshops across the country.
